There are lots of city and state parks in the area to explore. On 4/4/2014 we decided to visit a park very close to our apt.
Dash Point Park
We drove across the bay to this little day park.
It's daffodil and tulip season here!
We all enjoyed a stroll along the "beach"
lots of shells...
and a crab or two...
Many older homes surround the park.
very historic too!
This was a native american fishing camp years ago...
This fishing pier made a great lookout!
It's still very cold and windy for these Texans...
Love this quaint little park...
look at that deep blue water...
and sunshine...
